Stress, Anxiety, or Burnout? Therapy for Women in Kansas City Who Feel Overwhelmed
I help Kansas City women make sense of their stress, emotions, and mental health symptoms—so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
When Your Brain Feels Like a Battle, Everything Gets Harder
You didn’t choose this overwhelm, but it shows up every day. Maybe you’re exhausted from years of masking, powering through, and wondering why everything feels harder for you than it does for everyone else. Maybe your mind doesn’t feel like a safe place anymore. And you’re grieving the version of you that felt focused, light, or in control—even if she only existed in flashes.
Mental Health Affects More Than Just The Surface
If you’re like many of my clients, you may also be dealing with:
Feeling overwhelmed by even “simple” tasks like laundry, emails, or remembering appointments
Shame or guilt for being “scatterbrained,” “messy,” or “too emotional”
Relationship tension because your needs feel misunderstood or minimized
Constant anxiety from trying to stay organized, productive, and "on top of things"
Exhaustion from masking and pretending you have it together when inside it feels chaotic
Mental burnout from running on overdrive for years just to keep up
You might start to believe you’re just “too much” or “not enough.”
But what you’re feeling isn’t failure—it’s the result of pushing through life without the support your brain really needs.
Why I Do This Work
I became a therapist because I understand how overwhelming and isolating life can feel when your brain doesn’t operate the way the world expects it to. In my Kansas City-based therapy practice, I work with women who have spent years blaming themselves for being too scattered, too emotional, or not productive enough—when in reality, they were doing their best with a brain that was never fully understood or supported.
My therapy approach is warm, grounded, and centered around compassion. Whether you’re in Kansas City or joining me through secure telehealth in Missouri or Kansas, you’ll find a safe space where your full experience is welcome. There’s no need to have it all together here—just come as you are.

I work with women who feel overwhelmed, scattered, burnt out, or like they’re constantly “behind” in life. Whether you’ve acquired a recent diagnosis or have always felt like your brain worked differently, I can help you explore what’s really going on—without shame or judgment. Together we’ll unpack things like executive dysfunction, emotional intensity, rejection sensitivity, and the mental load of masking.

That’s completely okay. Starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially when your brain is juggling a million tabs at once. I’ll help you slow down, get grounded, and take it one step at a time. You don’t need to have a plan—you just need to show up. I’ll meet you there.
